  • Learn the Scrum framework and experience full immersion in iterations
  • Understand how to master Scrum for sustainable Agile software delivery
  • Become certified as Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) and claim 16 PDU's from PMI

Scrum has become the world-wide standard as Agile management framework for the delivery of complex products in a complex environment. No more than in software development controlling complexity is nowadays applicable and the current Agile project success rates have proven that the current Scrum domination is justified. Adopting Scrum is especially appealing for companies because it is lightweight and simple to execute. Training however is critical because Scrum is also extremely difficult to master.

In this ASM training participants learn the standard Scrum framework with 3 roles, 3 artefacts and 5 events. Because Scrum practices are intensive and require high-discipline, the participants will experience what it means to work in iterations so Scrum becomes more familiar and less hard.

Scrum can be very disruptive and organisations abandoning Scrum are not uncommon. Based on real-life scenarios with Scrum, the participants will become aware what happens when Scrum are dropped (so-called ScrumButs) and what additional (non-Scrum) practices are available to significantly increase the success rate of Scrum projects. These additional practices are from complementary sofware development methods like PRINCE2, Lean Software Deveopment and eXtreme Programming (aka XP).

Finally, this course allows the participant to claim 16 PDU's from PMI and become a certified Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) by successfully passing an independent assessment at is the home of Scrum and founded by Ken Schwaber, one of the creators of Scrum.
